For Items shipped with UPS or FedEx (Smaller boxed furniture):
All items are generally shipped within 1- 2 weeks of payment via UPS, or FedEx unless otherwise noted.
For Items requiring freight delivery (Sofas, Dining Sets, Broom Sets, etc):
All of our large items are generally shipped within 1-2 weeks of payment. We will notify you when your item ships!
Freight orders will need to supply us with a phone number that we can give the freight company so they can get you set up with a delivery date and time. At the time of delivery someone must be present to help the driver. The freight company is not responsible for setting up your furniture in your home. Most of them only offer a curb to curb service.
IMPORTANT: Inspect all items for possible freight damage upon delivery. All items are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse. We are not responsible for ANY damages after the items have been inspected and signed for in good condition. The responsibility for damages that occur during the shipping process rests with the shipping carrier. If you are receiving curb-side delivery please note any damage to the boxes being delivered on the delivery slip at the time you accept the items. If you have requested for the furniture to be assembled, please ensure that you note these damages when you sign the assembly service slip. Furniture Barrel will then work with the carrier to claim the costs and remedy the situation. Please note that the method of correction will be at the discretion of the Furniture Barrel management and will be assessed on a case by case basis. DO NOT REFUSE DAMAGED ITEMS. We will replace any damaged parts as long as you signed for them as damaged.
Furniture Barrel is not responsible for any item disposal, or pick up of any damaged goods. Once the items are signed for as damaged we will file a claim with the shipper and once the claim has been settled, if the shipper does not choose to pick up the items, they are yours to do what you want with. Do to the logistics and costs of shipping the damaged products Furniture Barrel assumes no responsibility of their pick up or disposal.
While the average delivery time is 10-14 days once an item is picked up, Furniture Barrel does not guarantee shipping times. We use the best shippers in the industry who do a very good job of getting our customers their furniture safely and as quickly as possible. If you live in a rural area, the shipment may take a little bit longer than if you live closer to a delivery terminal. Larger furniture items have to be shipped with specialized carriers who do take a little bit longer. If you choose to cancel an order mid-shipment, the shipping costs will not be refunded.
We will provide you the contact information of the shipper and they will be able to provide you with more information regarding your shipment. Furniture Barrel is not responsible for shipping irregularities that occur. We will work with both the customer and the shipper to get them taken care of with as little of a delay as possible.
We ship to the lower 48 states, and most addresses in Canada. .
30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee:
It is our goal that our customers are one hundred percent satisfied with their purchases, that's why Furniture Barrel will allow you to return any item that you are not satisfied with for an exchange or refund* no questions asked.
If you decide that you want to return an item please notify us at email@example.com and you will receive a confirmation. All returned items must be received in our warehouse within 30 days of delivery date to be eligible for return or exchange. All returned items must be in original condition, unassembled, and in the original packaging.
*The refund amount will be the original price of the item, minus the exact shipping costs. There is no restocking fee but we have to charge for the exact amount it cost us to ship the item to you. It is not the responsibility of Furniture Barrel to pay for any return shipping costs. We can set up return shipping but the customer must pay for it.
If items arrive damaged or are simply not what you were hoping for do not worry, your satisfaction is our number one concern! Please see the above "Guarantee" section for information on returns and exchanges. Furniture Barrel must have written notification of damages (a simple e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org) within 7 days of furniture delivery. We must receive the completed damage report within 2 weeks of delivery.
*Inspect all items before you sign for them. If you sign for an item and then later find that it is damaged we cannot send a replacement as we will be unable to file a claim.*
If you receive any damaged items please contact us immediately so we can work it out with the shipping company. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE BOX IF ANY ITEMS ARE DAMAGED! In order for us to send a replacement for a damaged item we will need digital photos of the damage sent to us via e-mail. Please understand that dealing with damages is a process that may take a few weeks as we have to involve the shippers.
The handling of damages is up to the discretion of Furniture Barrel. We will assess the damage and if it is easily repairable we will pay to have it repaired and returned to it's brand new perfect condition. If it is not repairable we will send a replacement piece.
Failing to comply with any of the guidelines stated above may void a damage claim. We will do our best to work with you but we need to do it right so we can be reimbursed by the shipper.
Order cancellation. Once an order is placed it can be canceled within 48 hours of order placement. If you would like to cancel an order please contact email@example.com. After the 48 hour window the customer assumes financial responsibility of the product and it can no longer be canceled without covering the shipping costs. Once the item ships from our warehouse we cannot cancel any orders and the customer assumes financial responsibility. If you choose to cancel an order mid-shipment, you will need to cover all related shipping costs.
If you purchase an item that will not fit it into your home, you can return it for the price paid minus the actual shipping costs. It is the customers responsibility to make sure an item will fit before a purchase is made, and Furniture Barrel will not be held financially responsible for any costs related to the shipping or return of an item that will not fit into your home.
We do our best to describe each item as well as possible with both a product description and pictures. However, due to the nature of the furniture business, please note that Furniture Barrel does not guarantee that the finish of the ordered wood, leather, fabric, or stone will be exactly as pictured. Imperfections or variations in the grain or color of the wood may occur naturally. Stone finishes such as marble and granite may differ in color as well. In addition, variations in the color and texture (wrinkling and natural marks) of leather may occur due to different dying and tanning processes and natural phenomena. As a result, these naturally occurring characteristics are not viewed as damages or defects. The listed dimensions are approximate and we cannot guarantee they are exact. We get all measurements from the manufacturer and cannot be held responsible if there are any measurement discrepancies.
