Who is FurnitureBarrel.com?

FurnitureBarrel.com is the online Branch of Rife's Home Furniture, which includes 7 retail locations and a large distribution center in the state of Oregon. Furniture Barrel's staff are committed to bringing you the best service possible and great furniture at great prices. Our goal is to get you to 'Change The Way You Buy Furniture'. Don't deal with pushy salesman or annoying advertisements, let us help you find what you are looking for from the convenience of your home.

How does the whole process work from beginning to end?

You can place your order on our website or by Phone, E-Mail, or Live Chat. As soon as we receive your order we will process it and you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 1 business day with all of the order details. You should look over the confirmation and make sure everything looks good. Once the order is ready to ship we will send you the tracking information to use online or by phone. We will not charge your credit card until your order is about ready to ship. When the shipment arrives in your area the shipper will call ahead and schedule a delivery day and time to make the shipment.

5. Receive delivery, inspect all items.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will not be charged until your order is about ready to be shipped.

How long will it take for my order to ship?

The amount of time it takes for an order to ship depends on it's stock status. A majority of our item are either readily available in our warehouse, or will ship directly from the manufacturer. If shipping time is a concern please e-mail info@furniturebarrel.com with the SKU number you are interested in and we can tell you the stock status.

If an item is in stock and immediately available it should ship in about a week, that is the time it takes for processing, inspection, shipping set up, and the pick up.

If an item is not immediately in stock and has to be ordered from the manufacturer it should ship in under 2 weeks.

If an item is not immediately in stock and is not available from the manufacturer it will ship when it becomes available.

*These are not guaranteed times, these are average times, sometimes things happen that make deliveries faster or slower, we work with our shippers to get our customers their products as soon as possible.

How do you safely ship the furniture?

Furniture Barrel only uses the best delivery companies to deliver the products we sell. All large items will ship with a carrier who specializes in the handling of large fragile items. You will receive a tracking number when your products ship and will be able to track the shipment online and by phone.

Can I have my furniture delivered inside my home?

Yes! Our free shipping service is a 'First Dry Area' service where the delivery company will deliver the furniture to the first dry area (driveway, garage, etc.). We also offer two delivery upgrades which are selectable at checkout: In-Home Delivery and In-Home Delivery and Set Up. Our In-Home Delivery service includes the delivery team bring the furniture inside your home and placing it in a room of your choice. In-Home Delivery and Set Up includes delivery to a room of your choice, unwrapping, set-up, and debris removal by the delivery team.

They will call ahead of time to set up a delivery day and time that works for you in all cases.

Notes: Delivery includes two flights of stairs maximum. If your delivery is more than 2 flights, please let us know.

How do I track my order?

We will provide you with tracking information when the item is ready to ship, after that you will use the number we provide on the shipper's website.

What happens if something arrives damaged?

It is very important that you inspect your shipment before the driver leaves your home and if there is any damage, you make note of it on the paperwork. On the delivery paperwork you should note what pieces are damaged and what the damage is. Furniture Barrel is unable to take care of any damages that are not marked on the paperwork as we will not be able to file a claim with the Shipper. When you notify us of damages we will send you a form to fill out and ask you to e-mail us pictures of the damage. After we get those items we will be able to proceed with getting the damages repaired or replaced.

What if I want to return my items?

We have a 30 day return policy where you can return your items for a full refund minus the actual shipping costs both ways. We do not also charge a restocking fee like most furniture companies.

I want to buy X, Y, and Z. If I purchase them all together can Furniture Barrel save me money?

Yes! We get discounted shipping rates if we ship more items together, so the more you buy, the more you save! E-mail us at info@furniturebarrel.com and let us know which items you are interested in and we will be happy to get you a personalized group price quote.

Is shipping really Free... And there is no sales tax?

Yes! The price you see on the website is all you will pay. We have no hidden fees and since we are based in Oregon, we do not have to charge sales tax.

Do you offer a warranty against defects?

All items come with their standard manufacturer's warranty. We also offer extended warranties on most products, contact us for details: info@furniturebarrel.com

Will the furniture I want to purchase require assembly?

It depends on what you are purchasing! Most wood products require light assembly, upholstery usually requires little to no assembly. If you let us know which items you are interested in, we can tell you how much assembly is required!

Will my item look exactly like the picture?

Furniture Barrel makes every effort to provide high quality images and measurements to assist you in selecting your furniture. However, images may vary in color depending on your monitor color settings and room lighting. Sometimes measurements are rounded off, and occasionally they will vary slightly from the description. Please note: We are not responsible for color variations or measurements that slightly off (three inches or less). All Returns will be subject to our return policies & fees.

How can I pay for my order?

FurnitureBarrel.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, checks or money orders. Your credit card will be charged prior to us providing you with your tracking information. Checks and Money orders must clear before we ship your items and may delay the order a week or so.

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes we do ship to Canada, though Canadian orders need to contact us first. We have to charge Canadian fee's to cover taxes and transport fees depending on item and weight. Please e-mail info@furniturebarrel.com with your Canadian address as well as the items you are interested in and we will get you a price quote.
